First off got to say what a fantastic day out, anyone who wasn't there really missed out. Secondly well done to Jon coming second, and bad luck Jason, I'm proper gutted for you, hopefully you'll get the pump fixed and be ready to go in no time.

Qualifying was a real confidence booster. Qualified 32nd out of 40 runners. In all honesty I couldn't touch the other metros. For first ever attempt at any form of motorsport, I'm quite happy.

Engine is out now Rob. New rings, mains, ends & pump. Nowt stopping me at Snetterton. Keeping up with a class c metro is the target...apart from the team governor of coarse. :) On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

OLd post...but heres an update. No engine damage at all. The only things are oil pump & one of the mains was f**ked & knackered clutch plate. Rings are not to bad. Will replace obviously.

Glad about that! Also glad that you are gonna pop ya track cherry before you go to Donnington!!! Gonna try and watch a few more races this year (family/work/holidays permitting)
