Near Lincoln

you can if your not intending to turbo it *smiley* it's a lot of work to fit twin carbs, altering internals to seal them under boost, making a plenum etc etc.
The std su does the job very well.

Maybe you can try this after exhausting every possible alternative for getting the very last ounce of power from the A-Series turbo by the more conventional methods... But i'd have thought Fuel injection would be a much bigger gain....
(ie getting someone to make something that will properly inject the 'A').

Well If you were silly enough to try before doing the more conventional route, Twin HIF38 would be the only way to go.

Still a pretty strange thing to want to do however.

its part of the plan...

space is the only problem...

Twins sit exactly were you want the turbo outlet to be!

I dont see the point when the single one does the job so well.
Even NA there is little if any advantage of twins isnt there?

i guess with twins you would minimise the risk of running lean on the inner cylinders? or is the outer cylinders? can't remember now!!

You wont solve that problem by changing the carbs... only way round that is a 8 port head!!!

The idea of twin carbs is to flow more air, just coz you have a turbo doen't mean more traditional tuning methods go right out the window!!

will wait for alex to do it , then copy when it works.

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....
