Does everything seem ok to u guys.. have i done it right, or not ?

But looking from the back, it dont seem 100% square

Plus when putting the exhaust system together. should i attach the back box to the centre pipe first, before fitting it all..

Cheers:)

The middle bracket looks spot on, but the rear bracket is not mounted the same as mine.

My bracket is on the other side of the subfranme to yours, so it clamps around the straight part of the tail-pipe rather than the bent bit.

The order of putting the exhaust together isn't important. Put it all on loosely then nip it up when it's straight and in the right position.

So the back box is wrong then... i did try placing it on the other part of the back box, but it kept hitting the subframe, and come out far to much from the back..

Is there anychance you could send us a pic please will ?
So i know what to go by...
Thanks mate..

Mine is the same as wils, ie. on the other side of the subframe but my bracket is different (that's why your bracket doesn't work on the other side). It's just a flat rubber strap that has a metal end bent up at 90 degrees that the straight part of the exhaust clamps to.

This is the bracket I've always used:
http://minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=36486
Mounted to the rear face of the subframe with two bobbins.

I also usually turn the U clamp the other way up - a bit mor of a faff but looks much better.

Never seen a bracket like the one you have - did it come with the backbox? Does make the U clamp more accessible though I suppose.

Thanks for that will..
this is on a clubman.
And where u have your back box mounted. mine is near the same, but on the other side of the subframe.
i cant get mine in the same place as your, as there's no room for me to get in there.. hmmm.
I have this http://minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=36486
But it wont work out. i took the same old exhaust system off, but that was a twin system.
And that bracket was already on there.. so im thinking the guy who had it b4 me, had it this way..
Not sure if there is a difference at the rear subframe and body to the clubman.
if u could see it in person, ya see that cant do it the way u have... maybe thats why the guy before me had this bracked set that way http://www.turbominis.co.uk/_photos/random...os/683/4039.jpg

So he used that part instead of this part
http://minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=36486

So do you think it be fine the way i have it ? as i cant seem to get it anyother way.
Cheers

The back of the clubman is the same, so you should have the same amount of space to fit the bracket and bobbins.

I don't see a problem with the way you've done it at all.
