bought an 11 stud double sprung head. doesnt appear to be skimmed, def not ported or polished.

Or it might be a std 1275 one with bigger inlets and two drilled holes. Impossible to say, and it doesn't really matter. If i t's from a late S/1300GT it will have stamped something near the thermostat housing. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

12g 1805 will be stamped close to the thermostat housing. usually in araound 3mm. letters.

The S and K are not consistent, so they do NOT indicate S or GT. However, the 1805 would indicate either. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
