i have searched through about airfilters but not found what i was really after. where do people place their airfilters? pictures would be helpfull.

i was thinking about moving my wiper motor inside the car (if it is posible) and haveing the airfilter going to where the wiper motor is and having venting in the bonnet to feed it with air.

has anyone done this? would it be posible?

paul.

Can put wiper motor inside the cabin ... a bit of a faff but seen it done plenty of times.

I'd prefer to put the filter at the front though ... less messing about ... so long as you have spake of course.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Is there such a thing as having too much cooling ...... don't know about a Clubman front ...... looks like that lot would need a Hummer front...LOL

Well done for craming all that in so neatly!!!!

Just one thing to have caution over and that is the oil cooler ... make sure the lowest point of the outlets are above the highest point of the core (if you catch my drift) or else you might find you get problems with maintaining pressure. Had a friend who's car we just couldn't get consitent oil pressure on and it turned out to be a vapour lock in his cooler.

Ignore the condition of it.....car is in a bad state now. It uses the likes of a XR3i panel filter.

Done the same, mainly because of space, but the air should be cooler under the wing. *wink*

Only problem with it is that you need to clean the filter more often, especially after wet muddy mini shows...*laughing*

do you have a picture mate of your engine bay i could have a gander at please :). im not sure i would have enough room to have a filter at the front, but the way i was seeing it is that i can section the filter off away from the heat of the engine, well thats the plan
