Im painting the minus smoke grey (BU15) I have been messing around this afternoon with resin pigments, the plan is to paint the inside of the shell in topcoat polyester resin (also the underside but thats easy as its just going to be black) I can only get hold of two grey pigments in small quantiies so which do you think looks best?
Please beware the pics I have taken do look a lot lighter the the actual shades, so doesnt really show the true shade well, but your thoughts anyway please.
I was thinking the lighter one as the other grey is too dark for interior i think? (my sister also agreed)

Cheers

Why do the same underneath Rick? The colour is lighter than the body colour, think it may look odd?

The grey on the top is smoke grey, the other two splodges are the resin, Im still not convinced that I should use the light grey on the underside tho. The resins have dried up ok tho, and as a bunus, they hide a multitude of sins which is fantastic!

I'd go darker as I think it would look a bit odd if it was lighter underneath.

I cant mix the two as they are different types and the seperate quicker than they cure. The darker one is a really awfull colour, have had a chat with the chap that has supplied the lighter colour, and he is going to see if he can get it closer to the smoke grey, if he can think its going to have to be black, which is a shame as it would be nice in grey to set off the black sub frames. Off on holiday on thurs so nothings going to get done untill I return.
