Sorry, really didnt want to ask this question, ive got the bleeding bit from the metro, but i cant find the damn ECU anywhere, where the hell is it!

Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt
Previous engine: STD metro turbo, megajolt

whats happens with no ecu ! lol how do you set the motor up with out one ?

Without one you drop your boost to 4.5psi...

then you use a bleed valve (or other device or even a full on electronic boost controler!) to manually control the wastegate.

The ECU allow you to run more boost than std at certain points in the rev range (4.5psi goes to 9 psi). It basically uses a solenoid as a electronic bleed vlave.

The reason for this is to reduce the midrange torque by a large amount to cut down on warrenty claims!!

im currently haveing problems deciding to use the ecu or not if i bin it what do i have to replace it with but i dont want to go back to points

Nothing to do with points or electric ignition.
Either fit a actuator with a stronger spring to increace the boost.
Or
Fit a bleed valve.
