i would like to fit 10inch wheels to my 1989 mini which currently has the standard brakes, so i will have to fit the cooper s brakes, is there anything else i will need? is it just a straight swap, will they work fine with the current master cylinder etc? cheers*smiley*

they should work with the current master. Another possibility is to get some 7.9" discs (8.4" discs turned down) and some alu calipers from minispares or the like. that would give you good brakes and also let you fit 10" rims.

Will the S calipers fit the 8.4" hub? (using 7.9" disk) are the centres of bolt holes etc the same?

All will bolt straight up ...... not sure why you'd want to ..... but you can.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

you can get 10" wheels to fit any type of brake set up. even 8.4" vented discs and standard 4 pots. the main thing is chosing a set up that works with the wheels you would like to fit and how nice you would like it to handle.
