Was there at dinner, in fact ive been about 3 times this week. Nice chap, good job and very well priced. He's machining my engine for sure. Not building it as i want to do that but i would let him if i wasnt up to it myself.

i was just going to check out the injection systems, single throttle body with mapped ignition/injection would be cool, costs quite a lot but i am intersted,
would that throttle body work on a turbo?
is it sealed ?

Dont think he's used it on a turbo, he certainly knows his injection stuff so may be able to sort something.
Was chatting about his webber alpha ignition at dinner, also just contacted emerald.

Decide if i dont build my ultimate mini now i never will so im going for it!

thats what i want to do, i will probably run a carb for a while and maybe mapped ignition, but injection is on the list for when i can afford it

I only sent an email amte, so they havent replied yet, i wont be ready for it for a fair few months yet but want to decide which im using early on so i can tailor the car to it.
Basically i want the car done for next year. Im using the van this year and then "the frog" next year.
