was mentioning about my turbo conversion to someone today and they said that you should strengthen the front subframe.
is this really needed?
never heard anyone mention about this before.
if it is true what needs to be done?

somwe bother some don't for a road car, I woudn't bother, but if you intend to stick it on the track then you could to with beefing it up a bit

I think it's probably worth doing, don't forget you're cutting a large piece of the bulkhead away.
I added some more weld to the joins on mine & also welded in some steel box section and triangular plates to reinforce the towers.

if you buy the avonbar turbo box kit you get the bits for the subframe in it
just most ppl dont no wot there for
