Got the brakes done and clutch system pressurised but just realised the slave cylinder doesn't appear to be bolted on correctly. The plate its mounted on is only secured by two bolts at point A so if it were to actuate the plate would just bend. Looks like it should be bolted on the left? Picture below, what am I missing?

U'r correct and whats missing is a metal sleeve to keep the plate roughly in the position shown and a long bolt to clamp all up.

Yea couldn't work out if it was right as nothing was moving except the plate. But the shaft running through clutch cover had seized and needed working free. Bolted up and disengaging properly now, cheers.
