A neighbour has just got another 3.0 disco. He reckons it is better than the old 2.7 on fuel and performance. I'm tempted but don't think I can live with the economy as it is a struggle with the current 34mpg

Not had many although i've been driving 23yrs.
I think I can get them in order :-
1984 Nissan Sunny 1.5 SGL
1980 Ford Fiesta 950 pop
1982 Ford Fiesta SuperSport
1986 Nissan Stanza 1.6 GL
1980 Ford Fiesta Van
1994 Renault Clio 1.9 RT diesel
1986 Vauxhall Cavalier CDi
1997 Fiat Bravo HGT
1997 Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo

I've still got the 2 Fiats and inbetween owning all these ive had 4 Metro Turbos

1985 Metro Turbo conversion - was a 1ltr City X in brown *happy*
1985 MG Metro Turbo - totaly standard but died of tin worm *frown*
1989 Metro Turbo conversion - was a GTa, sold it after engine self destructed
1988 MG Metro Turbo - still got this one, had it for a long time an i'll never get rid of it

And I had 1 little 1986 'C'reg Mini Mayfair. Had a 1275cc engine fitted and 13inch MiniLites.

I haven't listed the many vehicles i've bought purely to sell on because the list would be 5 times longer!!
