He's one of the guys on pistonheads. I've not seen any quicker cars.. none that compete anyway.

Have you seen the in car vids from behind?

As I say though, ive only "heard". Faster ones in America easy.

Yanks were doing 1/4s in 8 secs back in the 70s.

I think Andy's title is street legal car on normal pump fuel, no octane boosters etc.

AFAIK He's heading to Canada soon, and will be using some better tyres, race fuel, and challenging the big guns in the US.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
