Speak to roll-centre a they are more than happy to do custome cages and don't charge several limbs to do so.

Am I correct in thinking that all the key pick up points are the same as a normal Mini it's just that the overall height is lower?

If that is the case all they should need is;

the height to the point you need the bend in the A pillar bar and then the distance from that point to the roof

The angle of the A pilar at the screen area

Overall height at B pillar.

The rest they should be able to calculate easily if your after a normal 6 point cage.

They aren't far from you in the grand scheme of things either.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Cheers Roger, I didnt realise they was that close to me, only 2hours away!
Yes the pick ups are going to be very similar, the cage "legs" will be 3" less than a std cage (also possibly less a little more if the floor pan is deeper than a steel shell) Im not 100% if the rake of the screen is the same or not, also the rake of the centre section to rear wheel arch will be different to a steel shell due to the height difference.
The other place I had thought of trying is Z cars, they made the cage for the kawazaki green R1 engined minus, (bit of a gamble but worth a try)

The other option is make my own (bending is not an issue), but the price of cds tube, and my welding isnt the best.......
