Anyone got any spare plates for mounting a cage?? Or any 3mm plate to fab some from?

see if you can find a local fabrication shop.... we use one round here when makeing up rigs etc for work, they have loads of stock plate etc, and are very good at working with dodgy 'this big with a bend about here-ish' drawings. the one we use is really quite reasonable on price as well..... worth wondering in with cash also, often makes a big differance..... And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Get down to the metal supermarket in Coventry. They will cut to size the bits you need, and I doubt it will cost much.

1/8" plate can be more common than 3mm and is near as dammit the same (3.175mm).
