Buy new tips, wind the wire speed up a little

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

carl , try more feed speed ,or less current ...check to see if the wire has corrosion on it ,um make sure the metal your welding is clean .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

and not to much power for the wire speed

oh and make sure the wire is feeding freely.

Slow wire feed causes the ark to travel up the wire to the tip thus welds itself to the tip, you get a fizzle rather than a crackle, then you know whats going on

Check the wire feed rollers too, and don't over-tighten. Slacken right off, then tighten until wire starts grabbbing. Give it one complete turn after. That should do it.
Check lines & change tip as others said.

as above really,

as i dont use mine all that much, i spray that anti corrosion/antisplatter stuff all over the wire reel everytime i use it to stuff the top layer of wire rusting and making the feed stutter

my welds still look like the runs, but it doesnt weld itself to the inside of the tip as much :)

also make sure the shroud isn't caked up with spatter, and the liner isn't kinked or dirty inside. blow it out with compressed air if you can

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

other tip is use a 0.8mm tip for 0.6mm wire. does the trick for me. also get some anti-splatter spray and spray inside the nozzle.

i used to have the same problems and those 2 things used to cure it.

I've had the same issue in the past - a good clean out of the liner was the fix for me - helped a great deal as it appeared to be full of fine red powder which I'm assuming was rust from the wire. New tips and shroud help
