hi

i have a mk3 fiber glass bonnet from ABS motorsport.

iv desided i want to have a mk1 grille as i think they look smarter (just my opinion). would it be ok to cut the lip off of the mk3 bonnet? or would it leave a horible edge and alot of pissing about trying to sort it out?

im not sure weather to just sell the mk3 bonnet and buy a mk1 bonnet.

what are your views on this?

cheers

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I like nice quiet girly Minis

I'm with Sprocket 100%.

Chuck it on the bay (or sell it here I guess) and buy the Mk1 style Mk3 fitting bonnet.

If you ask nicely ABS will put hinge mounts on the back and lock pin mount on the front ...... no nasty, ugly, easily vandalised bonnet pins then!!!!!

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Ive got a van bonnet on mine (steel) that doesn't have a lip but fits a Mk4.

I guess this is the same thing as a Mk1 style Mk3?
