mg metro cam?!?!

i thought id avoid the other thread on cams as it seems a bit to political. I have a n/a mg engine in my mini at the moment and i am looking to convert to a 998 turbo.
would the n/a mg cam be any better than the 998 cam? and also would it fit without any mods?

Do a search on N/A MG camshafts. There will be plenty to read.

There is lots of info on a search about the 998 ang MG cam. But basically we run it in all out 998 turbos. We have tried a ph2, but it was rubbish in a 998.

Apart from that there is little information on what works and what doesn't. If you stick with the MG cam you will not be dissapointed. Well we have seen 155bananas using one so they are not too bad.

ok thanks guys. il think il get a second hand mg cam i can sell my 1275 then.
i think im goin to need to do some serious research before i start getting my hands dirty.

stevie, not sure if i have got the wrong end of the stick, but didnt you say you already have a n/a mg metro engine in your mini?

yes but if i take the cam out no1 will want to buy the engine which im selling to raise some funds.

Someone on here will buy a engine without a cam I would of thought.
