Experience the thrill of night racing at Santa Pod Raceway. The sights and sounds of the raceway are intensified by the night air. All types of vehicles, from hot rods to hot hatches, dragsters to bikes are invited to use the track for day and night racing.

The track is open from 9am-9pm (weather and track conditions permitting) with additional attractions of demo runs by the 270mph Fireforce Jet Funny Car, catering, bar facilities and evening entertainment. There is also free camping for those wishing to stay over for the Sunday Run What Ya Brung, and of course all clubs are welcome

The 2007 Saturday Night Special are 17th February and 13th October, gates open at 8am. Signing on costs the normal £30 per driver for unlimited runs from 9am to 9pm, £20 per driver for unlimited runs from 9am to 4pm and £10 per driver for unlimited runs from 4pm to 9pm. Driving Licence required. Entry costs £10 for a full-day ticket and £20 for a two-day ticket, Free camping with two-day tickets.

iirc when i went in feb it wasnt that busy ,not as busy as some summer rwyb's,but it'l be real good either way..night time air temp=better times?

TBH I'd rather run at York than Pod; its closer to home, and I fucking hate Pod, its a shithole!

I was at this last year.

Managed 7 runs over the entire weekend, which is shit.
Could have got an 8th, but was far too pissed off queuing.

2hrs min between runs......Santa Pod need to stop signing cars on, when they know fine rightly, half of them might only get 1 run.
Greedy bastards IMO.

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Well true Paul, but at least it isn't trying to be something it is not, £40 to get into Pod for 2 of you, then pay out again to sign on, at least at York its only a tenner on the gate.
