Doable. Although not strictly mine, I'm the mastermind and mechanic.

And the engine is the wrong colour.

Must be red to go that fast.

It's so that you can see the small washers inside the engine *surprised*

Id say a normal Mini could do it anyway.

I hit a Crane Hi6 limiter of 7500rpm in mine, going down a short stretch of hill once, 3.1 diff and 165/60x13 tyres.
Usually hit about 110 at the top of the hill, with a further 1/2mile( maybe slightly more ) to go going downhill on the other side.
So I doubt that was far away. 7000+rpm was easily achievable on a flat road I used to use for testing within about 3/4 mile from rolling start..

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Albeit BMW's attempt at a 21st century replica of the British classic!

Not a bad attempt I must ad! but certainly not a 'real' 150mph mini.

using the free gearcalc program steve ,that works out to exactly 150 mph !

It was downhill though *wink*

never managed it on a flat surface, although 7k+ was easily achieved.

Although pushing further was not something I tried that often, for obvious reasons.
