No LSD, just a cross pin.

I don't know about torque fogures 120+ I think.

It's the super sticky Hoosier slicks that don't help.

I think the only upgrade is hardy spicer's, thats what the boys use on the grass, and there is a lot of strain on them, as they run lsd's and loose contact with the ground a fair bit

Never seen that before!, just unlucky IMO. I thought pot joints lasted forever. I'd replace it with another. Looks like the gearbox casing and diff housing has survived so nothing to serious.

Good effort!

I think I might get some hardy spicers if you can get them to fit on standard diff outputs.

I'm planning on getting an LSD at some point in tyhe future anyway.

Wil - You'll need a new Diff if fitting HS joints; the outputs are different.

10/10 for effort though!

Is the speedo housing ok - i'm guessig it's been mashed by a flailing driveshaft?

An Lsd will improve your hillclimb times, i found an extra couple of seconds as alot of traction was gained coming out of the corners, instead of the inside wheel spinning. Does very little in a straight line for me.

I reckon Hardy Spicers are over rated and Pots joints under rated(IMO)

It does look like the spedo drive is wrecked but in fact as I don't use a spedo I took out all the internals and bolcked off the output hole, so it's fine. Just covered in grease and oil.

If I can't get the HS joints. Cany anyone sell me a near side driveshaft??

Ok cheers, I'm going to get my bro to speak to Jon.

Llandow was a good laugh, it's got everything, fast and slow corners and a fantastic fast chicane at the end of the back straight. We went there last year too. I only made one lap this year before the shaft broke, arse.

wow thats seriously broken!!

not seen any pot joint go like that before... I hope my slicks wont do the same thing!

Usually the gearbox brakes before the pots do, unless your grassind were you spend some time up in the air and then come back to earth with a bump while still on full power

Maybe that's it. The new slicks tend to cause the car to pitch up onto two wheels rather than slide. Although I tend to wait till it lands before I plant the throttle again.

Cheers
