right took off my air feed to the turbo today and found some nice oil splatter inside it. now i'm currently not running a dump valve (diaphram perished!) and have read on here that it shouldn't cause damage to the turbo, but i was wondering if i need to rebuild the turbo or not? i know some turbo engines (especially turbo diesels) have a fair ammount of oil the the inlet system and although mine isn't excessive, well none at all really. i've probabily just answered my own question here......... New turbo diesels have oil in the inlets because of emission/engine breathing shit. Not ideal at all. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

alot of egr valves go in work on diesels, clogged up due to people not getting the car to temperature properly. i hate working on turbo diesels, they're shitty messy and a pain in the ass!
