I've had a crap week at work so far, but today made it worth the effort coming here. Took a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon. A picture just doesn't do it justice

After a week of being trapped in a meeting room talking about business processes it was night to get out and see some sights

ASU v Washington football game





Cheerleaders :)


Took a tour up through Sedona to the Grand Canyon

Bell Rock in Sedona


The tour bus


Cameron Trading Post


We went through the Navajo Reserve to look at Little Canyon


Then onto the Grand Canyon..







Back to work now :(

I also have some vid of the cheerleaders :)

It was weird to the think during the first part of the flight we were 800 ft above the ground, then as we passed over the canyon rim we were a mile above the ground.

In the first canyon picture in my second post, the far rim is 16 miles away. I just can't get my head round the scale of it.

Work was bad the first week, but it's worse now. Looking forward to coming home.

Hi Neil, Sorry work is crap but the sightseeing looks great.
It's understandable you are looking forward to coming home, I bet you are missing your family and garage full of Mini bits but I bet you prefer the weather there to a cold and miserable Doncaster.
