I guess if you want perfection then it will come at a price. Are you simply going to drop the shell off to them and they do all the prep ect?

I don't think it is a bad quote, remember there is a fair bit of work to be done, new a panel, fit arches, cut rear arches etc, its not just a paintjob.

I would say that is quite reasonable TBH, especially with the extra work involved. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Black is one of the worst if not THE worst colour for showing up imperfections, so they'd have to do a damn good job to make it a flawless finish.

sounds resonable for a good job. as the others say 99% of the work is in the prep. Are they stripping the car down and putting it back together on completion?

as others have said its all in the prep, do not do any yourself its not worth it, if the paint does not take they will have to do it again at a cost. strip the car as much as you possibly can before you give it to them. You will never know whats under the paint until they do what ever they do. best of look |

When I had my herritage shell painted it was £1k plus the vat, that was inside and out! Most of the paint shops near her charge £40 per hour labour, if you concider the work your having done it sems reasonable, for my minus I am doing the prep (although on the verge of giving up) and Ill be paying £250 for my local shop to paint it.

I already have the paint, so its just labour for priming an blocking back, then top coat, ahh the wounders of craftsmen that love cash in hand!
