Long shot.

Ford Fiesta Mk1 or Mk2 caliper carriers.

None of my local breakers have any.

My local Ford dealer says no longer available.

Breakers on Ebay not interested.

How do you guys do it.

Quick before I buy some 'S' Calipers.

The first one didn't reply to my questions.

I've now tried the second.

Thanks

If my local breakers are open on saturday. I will go and have a look, I haven't driven the mini for 4 weeks so need an excuse for a drive! I'll let you know how much they want for them.

They are apparently the largest yard in the south west so may turn up something.

Axel,

I'm sure you already know this, but try if possible toget the Mk2 fiesta setup, they have slider bolts which are much less prone to sticking than the earlier mk1 setup with wedges like on old fiats.

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

i have used the Mk1 ones in the past, i didnt think the mk2 ones fitted ?

Axel, a bit extreme i know, but have you considered getting a mk1 banger ie the whole car then taking the bits you want off ? if you have a set of old callipers i can get em up to (exact figure cant remember but cheap !!!) 30 quid each exchange if you send em up *wink* IMHO the fezzy callipers work better than the S ones, but thats just me from my experiences with them. you will need to change the hoses too for the fiesta ones, they have a banjo type fittment rather than direct into the calliper itself.
