Apparently McLaren notified motorsport's world governing body, to appeal against a stewards verdict regarding a fuel-temperature irregularity

BMW Sauber and Williams cars had lower temp fuel which could have given them an edge and the stewards didn’t appose a penalty..

so Hamilton could get the drivers championship on a technicality.. sounds a bit desperate.

i reckon mclaren are pissed off after there big fine they had the other month.

but at the end of the day rules are rules and whats the point in having them if there not followed?

I totally agree. Mclaren has had one bulls after another. At least Alonso didn't get it either.
There was a feature in a mag about F1 fuels. Shell even formulated a lighter fuel for Ferrari!

Don't blame Maclaren for appealing, you can't tell me that the authorities did no know the exact temperatures, both ambient and of the fuel, that's bullshit.
Go for it Maclaren stuff it up the FAI just as they did to you!

I think its a long shot by McLaren, but as Josh says why have the rules if they don't stick to them.

Ferrari cheat but never get caught out, but they see what other people are doing and taddle tale off them.

he hole thing was a bit of a setup imo, launch control not working properly off the start, gearbox failing and going to a 3stop setup instead of two which was odv alot faster 2+2=7?
