Has any one fitted these, i brought a genuine set from mini spares and they seem to need alot of work for them to fit corretly. Also i belive they are labled up incorrectly eg left plate fits better on the right. Does any one have any pointers to help me out.

Thanks Chris

they dont fit great mate i have lined up one of mine as the other is already done but they are not the greatest fit. a little bit of bending and twisting may help but not to much. also you may be correct they could be labled wrong

I have fitted these to mine, You have to do a whole lot of welding and blending. I had a gap all the way around the edge of mine, just try and get them as best you can before you weld all the way around.

Also they will only go one way around as the two holes go towards the bottom.

Tip: Try and get them as flush with the rest of the body as mine werent (see the bottom of the pic) and i had to tap them outwards with a panel hammer.

Cheers

Sorry to revive an ancient post but i was doing some searching! Anyway for reference, I got my panels from M Machine in darlington in person. They are almost a perfect fit to my shell. Took 15mins to weld each one in and about 30min-1hour to shape the filler (minus setting time)
