well i have just replaced the head gasket today and all was going well untill i pulled away from a set of lights and the car seemed to loose all its power, i had a look and nothing seemed to be out of place and the engine was ticking over nicly. when i reved the engine the silicon intercooler pipe was getting sucked together. has any one got any ideas of what the problem could be.
has the turbo gone. there was no smoke or noise. pleas let me know wat you think .
thanks

Intercooler pipe??

Do you mean the air inlet/flexi pipe, these do collapse when the boost comes in if damaged.

Worth checking.

yep that was the problem the pipe got crushed, the car is running good apart from a small missfire just as the boost comes in
