like someone already said....

the metro ecu has NOTHING to do with the ignition...

All it does is alter the boost, so rip it out and run a bleed vlave!

where would i fit the bleed valve

in the line between the plenum and the wastegate acatuator.

my ecu is wired to the control valve solenod do i need it

nope!

Remove that as well... all the "control valve solenod" is act as an electronic bleed valve. So in effect you remove the ecu and its output, replacing it with a user adjustable device.

thanks for your help i have one more question i have been told to put a lunenition ignition system on is this going to be better than my mg turbo dizzy this may sound stupid but what adjustable device thanks

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Stick with the mg turbo ignition. does the job as well if not better than the lumention. *smiley*

yup...

2 wires... st8 onto the coil... one is positive and the other negative!

BEWARE

ONLY if not running a ballast resistor !!!

if you have a Ballast resistor
take the 12v from the fuse box to the dizzy rather than the coil + as you dont get a full 12v

The only coil you can run with this system is a 12v coil *wink*

erm. oh dear.

ive got the coil and dizzy my metro had in, and it has the resistor! never had problems starting though?
