As per the title really, looking into various weight saving options at the moment and there is scope to same some weight back there. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

As Nic says, not a great deal, but every little helps. In actual fact the boot floor is also quite light really as well.

Its not just the weight, remember it creates drag scooping air into it.
