Bit of an odd one, but im after some fooked/busted gearbox parts!

Aspect of a project im doing at uni is about increaseing the strength of the transmission on a turbo a-series motor.

I need to show that there is a need to make the boxes stronger/more reliable with higher levels of loadings and stresses with uprated bits.

So am after some broken gearbox bits to use in a presentation, could be diffs, diff pins stripped gears or whatever! I know some people might keep bits like this as trophys to show your mates, but thought I might ask anyway! Will also be looking at the materials and design of these bits so they will definately be alot of use to me!

Any help would be great, im willing to actually pay for fooked bits! Win win situation or what!

I stripped a gear a couple of weeks ago. I should be pulling the engine this weekend if not next. You can have all the broken parts.

Ahh perfect! If you dont mind of course, id be happy to pay you for them! Not in a rush really, the presentation is in 3 and a half weeks so quite a while, no rush.

I have just stripped two boxes down (good timing) I have a shagged Laygear and a First motion shaft you can have for nowt!

Let me know and ill weigh them up for posty!

Mike - my paypal got hacked the other day and theyve locked it till further notice so wont be able to send you any cash unless I wire some to you if you have tinternet banking?
