Thats fine if you want to go to the expense of using the addatives, its a hassle over just filling up. Also up to you if you want to spend more money by buying a leaded head over an unleaded head, in this way.

Whats the point when you could just wait for an unleaded head to appear on ebay.

You could replace the seats but again that will cost, be easied to get an unleaded head.

These are not like the A series heads where most of them are leaded, quite the oposite, most of these are unleaded.

Heads before 86 are leaded, heads after 86 are unleaded, there was 4 years of production in unleaded and 3 years in production of leaded.

Why not visit http://www.motorworks.co.uk and have a look at their second hand parts, they now list these heads as a kit specificaly for the mini and at £250 you get everything you need, TBs, Fuel rails, injectors, inlet stubs, cams and the cover, all gauranteed for 6 months.

You make a good point, i agree, looks more sensible to to get an unleaded version.
