Back to Fucking Tool status

today with help from ollie i got my engine out. and many thanks to ollie for his patients as we got it out little did i know it was as easy as it was. we also managed to do a mock up of ollies roll cage in his car unfortunatly it was a tad bit dark when i took the pictures but here they all are.

oo the joys of taking the engine out. did you manage to get the block out with out taking the exhuast manifold out the car??? I've always spent about 2 hours trying to get the y bit off the bottom of the manifold so i can get take that off inorder to get the engine out. Mine needs to come out again before summer. bloody oil leaks!

yes we did manage to get the engine out with the manifolds still in place, it took a bit of wigaling to get it out but did slide out realitivly easy. unfortunatly the car that engine is going in, still has the engine in it... bastards! also found a nice peice of manifold in my had when i was taking the exhaust off the welds on the 3-2-1 lcb were pritty dead. engine should be out of the other one by the weekend ready to get it running for sunday.
