Hi all,

I took my mini out to the local drags last wednesday night and had a great time and my mini did ok but i want more and i know its got it but i think the main problem at this point is traction.

my best time was a 14.09 at 98.8 MPH and my 60 foot for that run was 2.318, 330 foot was 6.08, 660 foot was 9.15

i am running 13x6 with Pirelli P5000 175x50 and i could hear wheel spin all through 1st and most of second.

what are your thoughts?

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Damn, that's excellent! About the same time and speed as my 1293 TurboMini on 15 psi a few years back.

Sounds a pretty good run to me. What tyre pressures were you running.

I was thinking that too

At avon in sep i ran a quicker 60ft with my tyres at 25psi, than i did with them soft

JF had some 13" slicks for sale a few months back. Might be worth a try.

thanks guys,

well i am happy with it but you always want more, i just want to be in the 13's

i was running 25 pound the first run and then put them down to 12psi and got very simillar 60 foot times so i think the best pressure is around 15 or so

I think i have the power, was engine dynoed without the Megajolt and the cooler with 174 @ crank on 12psi, i have not had it back on the rollers and properly tuned again as it was leaning out but i have polished a BDG needle and it seems to be ok and the plugs are a bit darker now so i think its ok.

they have the off street drags every wednesday night here so i think i will go out again in a month or so and see how i go.
