Having just been fishing around looking for a clutch slave in my spares bin and only being able to find a verto one i was wondering what the bore sizes would be as they are surely different... or are they.....

minispares list the pre verto slave as having 7/8" bore (22.2mm)

i have jus measured a verto slave (from a metro with the larger M12 hose fitting) at 22mm.

can anyone confirm the std non verto one is 7/8" bore?

I always believed them to be 7/8 for the pre-verto and 22mm (as near as dammit 7/8) for the verto.

I can use the verto one i have then, so i won't fell bad about drilling a hole in it for the pressure switch i want to try for the rev limiter.

the difference in bore size (sod all) will give about 1.5mm difference in stroke at the slave (sod all).

acually now i think about it it makes sense that the slaves would be the same size,

the verto pressure plate has a leverage ratio that will be pretty much offset by the shorter verto arm.
