I'm a turbo owner!

Ok so its not a mini but I do now own a turbocharged a supercharged and a N/A 1275 engine.

I never worked out how to place pictures directly in the message but below is the link to my album, if someone wants to add them to the thread then please feel free.

Intrested to know what people think of it?

I'm not planning on getting rid of the mini, but might borrow its engine to see how this goes once through the sva.

Surely its not remarkable buying off ebay, nearly all my mini related items come from there.

Its no secret that this came from e-bay but for the price i've seen genuine metro turbo engines going for these days, if I felt like it I could probably paint the engine and sell it for almost what I paid for the whole package.

Lol, dont blame you. I had my eye on it, am looking for (ideally) an unfinished tiger E2 to put a cossie YB engine in, stumbled across yours and it got me thinking (and tempted) what are the plans for the car?

I fancy hillclimbing, went to a couple of events last year with the intention of entering the mini next year, but i'd like to be competitive and with a forced induction 1330cc with a 1.4x penalty on engine size I think I could be a little under powered at 145bhp as i'm sure they don't allow nos which is where my extra power comes from at present.

I'll qive it a try with the supercharged unit in it to see how well it goes.

I am still working on a higher powered forced induction fuel injected unit so I have a few options.

I also now have the blank canvas of a turbo engine
