due to the temptation of e-bay, I recently bought a clubman shell that is remarkably solid low down but the roof is so rotten it looks like it was stored upside down in a puddle for a couple of years.

I thought about welding in another roof, doing a speedster and cabrio stuff but at the end of the day its just another project i'll not get round to doing so I thought about making a BBQ out of the front end and a sofa for the workshop out of the back end.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Put a FibreGlass Roof On it! Cheap and Easy to Fit!

Job Done

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

problem with the roof repair is that the A, B & C posts are rotten as is the rear screen surround. Thats the frustrating thing as the floors and sills with the exception of the drivers which has an oversill fitted are original.

Find a later mayfair or similar shell with a good roof and everything else rotten and lop the top off, make a good one out of two.....

That was my original plan - I've got a doner but quite frankly can't justify the time and effort with all the other projects not yet finished. maybe I'll set it aside for the moment

Where about on the a b and c posts?

If the rot is at the top then you can chop half way down, not really practical but it can be done.
