quick question! carb connections

hello, was looking in the how to section under carb connections, was just wondering what the outlet near the carb is for everyone seems to block it up with a bolt. also the pipe to the plenum has a t piece which i dont know where its supposed to go just dissappears on most pictures, i dont have an ecu. any help would be great.

The T piece used to be for the ECU but it gets blocked off if you dont use it.

The other blocked off one is for the anti run on valve, this is a solenoid that opens to effectivley stall the car to prevent run on probs. This isnt really needed if the car is set up correctly but cn be kept. Problems occur when this leaks however and the car wont start, bit of a pain to find out why!!! hope that helps
