Gavin Wakely did. Im not sure if there were any complications though. Give him a PM and he may be able to tell you.

I seriously doubt it!

Bugger!

due to being over zellous with the locktite I can't get the pully off.

Here are some pics of the setup though.

material has been removed from the alternator side of the alternator pully, I removed as much as i thought I could getaway with, also behind the std V pully that was on there, ther was a scintered spacer washer, as the hole in the toothed pulley was bigger than the alt shaft I machined a step onto the washer to centralize the pully and took some material from this too.

You need to take as much as possible to make the pully clear the fan and rad suround. If i need any more it will need to come from lug where it mounts to the water pump which is so far untouched.

Oh also I sourced a shorter waterpump to alternator belt from a local place.

If you've already trimmed the lug that'll just mean less to take off the pully.

ill have a measure up but i think ill have to take a fair bit off the pulley as there is absolutely no thread coming through at the minute, might mean the belts run quite close

another thing, did your pulley have a considerable amount of surface rust when it arrived 'new' from minispares?
