Right, fed up with the messy and noisey metro turbo setup, i bought an injection tank at combe. Fitted and plumbed it in, switched on ignition, nothing. Bastard.

Hewel very kindly dug out his old internal pump and i set about fitting that yesterday. Pulled the pump/return/gauze assembly out and swapped the pumps over. Installed back in the car and guess what... pump still doesn't run.

I've checked the wiring, and it's producing a good 12v (certainly enough to make the old metty pump run) The wiring inside the tank seems good too.

Anyone have any idea what's up with this? At this rate i'm going to go back to the metty setup.

Have you fitted a separate earth feed to the terminals?

have you just got some wire and put it from a battery to 2 terminals. try it on the old pump first.
