TD you get a yank 4x4 and bring it over here, then go green laneing and the SJ will kick arse. at southern mini days a friends SJ had to pull a nissan patrol and a land rover out the mud. |

Shed - I wouldn't use any yank 4x4 other than a TJ for off-rading over here - and that has a suspension clearly plagiarised from a 90.

Dave, green lanes are the only legal place (other than private land) that you can go off roading. the lanes are rather narrow and the land rovers etc have trouble through the trees, the SJ however is ideal.

Dave, i'm no expert BUT we had two SJ's and a defender. 1 SJ on bald road tyres, 1 SJ with mud tyres and the defender had allterrain tyres. we drove all 3 at a steep grass hill side by side and even the SJ on road tyres got further than the defender. |
