Hi
I need some advice for mounting my steering column. I have a weld in cage and need to weld a bracket onto the cross bar to hold the steering column. What type of bearings have people used and would a rose joint be sufficient for this and if so does anyone know what diameter the shaft is? I think jim and others have used an escort shaft?
Thanks
Sam

I used a Maestro/Montego shaft, but I used the whole column, so the standard bearings were retained.

Thanks guys for your help, Jim one more question how high is your front cross bar from the top of your boxes to bottom of the tube? I ask as I will be using the curley dash but havn't bought it yet so not sure where to put the cross bar. I know you are using the curley dash.
Thanks
PS will post some pics of my progress all be it slow!
