Hi,

I'm French (Grenoble town).
I have an Alfa 75TS (my former track car), Maserati 430 biturbo (a family car), a freshly rebuilt Mini 1000 for a mixed street/track usage and a Lancia Kappa 2.4 20v.

I'm currently developping my own MPi system for the Mini, I took an old Bosch Motronic ECU (ML4.1) and re-wrote the firmware.

The static wasted spark ignition is finished and has been running now for 2-3 monthes, I'm starting the injection part.
998 unleaded head, SW5 + dual-chain Swiftune kit, balanced crank, lightened flywheel, front mounted Metro radiator, fully adjustable suspension, springs + Gaz, ...

As I can see Mini forums are definitely highly skilled :) .

Yes my cars are fantastic :) . Except the Kappa of course, which only has an engine of interest (the Fiat inline-5).

The Mini is a beautiful toy to drive and to modify. Right now I've decided to finish the engine injection, but the final goal is to put a front frame on rear and install an electric motor to have a hybrid car. With a 10-15HP constant current motor and 3-4 lead-acid batteries. I'm sure that despite the additional weight it will outperform a lot of cars on the track. Especially if there is a small turbo to help the front engine :) .
I bought a 1983 rusty Mayfair for necessary parts. I'll use the rear of the donor to make a prototype.

Yes a 430 is a family car. As opposite to a race car :) . It has 180mkm on the clock and except usual Italian folklore it runs very well.

The Alfa 75ts still has the track suspension and dual-caliper brakes.

When I drive the Mini the sport is to never brake. While driving the Alfa the sport is to brake as late as possible.
