hi all, just wondering when you convert to turbo, if you need like a control unit ecu (Did the metro turbo have one?) or can you run without?

Thanks

Metro's had an ECU of sorts but all it did was limit the boost below 4K.

As the others said the metro turbo had an ECU that would limmit the bost to 4psi untill 4000 rpm when it would allow the turbo to boost 7psi.

by taking the ECU off it allows you to set your boost to what you want by a bleed valve or adjustable actuator.
