Any one using a cooper s damper and a trigger wheel?? If so what have you use? Bolt on kit, self made bolt on or machined the damper ring?

Hi, I have a trigger wheel fitted to an 'S' damper with belt drive aswell, and I agree that in my opinion it's not a good idea to machine the damper or bolt the trigger wheel to the rubber mounted outer, as the outer ring can flex. I've machined a collar so the trigger wheel bolts to the centre of the damper. I'm sure there's an engine firm selling such a collar, sorry don't remember who. (Very simple to machine if you have access to a lathe) http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c248/spe...er1/mini007.jpg

I machined the damper, and made up a mount for a rover 75 hall effect sensor,
