Hi,

My mate has a problem with his reverse light in his BINI, I haven't looked at it personally yet but from the description it sounds like the reverse switch has gone high resistance.

the description is,

there is 12v on the feed to the bulb with the bulb removed, but with the bulb in the feed is at 0v.

not having really looked at bini's where is the switch? and is this a common fault.

on the gearbox, mines a 52 cooper and its just next to the gearbox mount, near a black breather you may have to take the air filter box off.

there a few different gearboxs so maybe there in different places on the box.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
