Archie, my 20 month old boy, turns out to be a computer wiz. Somehow, through pressing a load of buttons on the keyboard and tossing around with the mouse he has managed to bugger up the text sizing on Firefox.

The text size was always constant before, but now changes site-to-site. So much so that it is too small to read on one then massive on another.

What the hell has he done? I can't find any way to change it back. I'm not a computer idiot but this one is really baffling me.

Cheers

Wil

Wil,

Try:

Tools,
Options,
Content,
Font and Colour,

Click on advanced,
and tick the box half way down.

If your firefox is the same version as mine then it should work.

Cheers for that. text is already set to normal, but it's just all over the shop. I'll try your fix later Timmy (I'm at work on IE atm)

As it happens I'd already done all of the suggested. on Ebay, the text on the search box is so small I can't read what I have written.

Obviously I can change the size as I go, but it wasn't like this before the boy did his magic.

Edit, just spoke to suzy (t'other arff) and she said that MS IE is also affected, so it must be a general windows problem.

Any thoughts?

If you can't work it out, would a restore point set it back to normal?

Dont know about that....but my scroll button started altering text size on Firefox recently. Only lasted a while before sorting itself though

If I hold CTRL and roll my scroller up and down, it changes my text size.
