Well both cameras are very similar as you know, I think looking at it I'd go for the Nikon, I have a D2Xs and it a super piece of kit, along with a fuji and thats a Nikon Fitment.
Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

350D with a 75-300mm IS canon lens here - love it, altho the actual camera is a bit tiny.

My sister has a canon eos 30d and that seems a very nice camera although not being much of a photographer myself i can't comment. But hers takes bloody good pictures!! |

I also have the canon 350D. Excellent piece of kit. From what I have read the 400d although better on paper is a bit of a pain to use. I doubt you will be issapointed with either the Nikon or the Canon. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

I use a Pentax K10. And lenses can be used from the 70's so they are cheap o ebay. Great camera. Check my sig for the link to my web site. |

i used to own a canon350d, brilliant camera i enjoyed every second of using it, now ive moved on a little bit to the 400d, id say for rally a 18-55mm lens would be perfect however for tracks you need something with a little more flexibility on it probably a 70-200. the best zoom lens canon do in my opinion. id advise a decent tripod also.

sony slr bodies will take minolta af lenses. I've been told that sony bought there camera technology from minolta. |

Hey all, was thinking of getting the missus a Nikon j1 with the twin lens kit for xmas, she doesnt really want a full size SLR and she liked the look of these? Are they any good? I dont really know a big lot about them, so your help would be much appreciated. cheers :) |
