this is my sons car(not bad for seventeen)
engine is now in and is ready to connect up,he used an injection front subframe,engine is standard except for dumpvalve,so now the fun begins trying to get it to run,more pics soon.lol

hope he finds a sympathetic insurance company.. at 17 i was pushing it to get unsurance on a boggo 998.

insurance will be horrific!
i am paying 650 on my modded thou, but with the turbo lump stated @19 with 1yrs no claims, i will be paying in excess of 1500 quid!!!!!!!!! thats a std lump!

he is only paying ?385 fully comp for his mini
at the moment running a 1380,been quoted
?650 for the turbo(norwich union)

i to found insurance hard to find under ?1000 at 17 with a body kitted mini with just a 998.
Is the insurance in his own name ?

his mothers a driving instructer so he gets
good discounts,more pics soon just in case anyones actually interested in the car and not
the cost of insurance,

its always a bit of a reality hit when you build a project only to discover you cant insure the bloody thing :( been tehre done that.

yes wheels were bought off topmini,
interior black/blue piping/blue carpets/blue harness/blue fibreglass dash,car is being painted electric blue/black roof(bmw mini)
