hi,

i have been offered a set of non vented metro 4 pot calipers, I was after the vented type but the fella says you just need a spacer and longer bolts then you can run vented discs, is this right?

Cheers

Yes, it's correct, but why not use it as it is? I am. Vented discs are overkill.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

V's right, the vented discs just add weight. Use the 4pots with the solid discs, that's what i did and they're fine.

then is there much advantage over the standard 2 pots on a mini? because they have 2 big pistons rather than 4 smaller ones like on the metro?
